About Umbra
*In foster care in Erskineville, Sydney*
A sweet-natured girl who enjoys the calmer side of life, Umbra likes nothing more than being near favourite people - so if you're working from home, watching TV or just hanging out, she'll likely be napping close by!
She loves receiving pats, particularly head scratches, and will sometimes even start purring before you make contact. She's generally very relaxed, but she does get the occasional urge to zoom around the house or play ferociously with her toys :)
Umbra prefers a tranquil environment, so she'll usually excuse herself to a peaceful spot when there's commotion, and come back out for pats and love when things are quiet again. While she can take a little time to get to know new people and places, once she feels comfortable, her gorgeous nature shines!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Umbra is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll do best in a calm home with a family who'll be patient with me as I get to know them. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I'll be a loyal and loving companion!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a low-key lady, though I do enjoy the occasional zoom around the house - and I love using my scratching post, playing with my stuffed mice, and chasing the wand toy with my humans :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm not a fan of hustle and bustle, but I think I'd get along well with older children who are able to interact with me calmly and are considerate of my boundaries. For example, I love receiving pats, but prefer for people to approach me slowly.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm looking forward to being your one-and-only furry friend!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
