About Charlotte
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
Charlotte is a thoughtful little lady who values her personal space but always wants to know what you’re up to!
She’s not one for cuddles or constant pats, but don’t mistake her independence for indifference - if she can’t spot you, she’ll let out a loud chirp until you answer back! She adores the company of other cats and can spend hours playing chasey with her feline friends.
With humans, she prefers to take a slower approach. Trust takes time, and she’s still learning that we aren’t all that bad. The way to her heart is definitely through food - especially creamy tube treats!
Charlotte also enjoys spending time watching the world go by, keeping an eye on birds, and soaking up a warm sunbeam. She'll thrive in a calm, patient home, ideally with another friendly and confident cat to show her the ropes. She’s perfect for someone who appreciates that a bond might take a little time to grow, but it's worth every minute in the end!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Charlotte is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will let me settle in at my own pace, and be myself without pressure. I adore cosy hideaways to retreat to, so a home with quiet corners or a comfy nook all my own would make me very happy! Big windows with sunny spots would also be most welcome.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm mostly a snoozy girl who loves a good nap somewhere warm, like a windowsill or a soft couch. But when the mood strikes, I'll suddenly spring into action with short, joyful bursts of play! One minute I'm dozing and dreaming - the next I'm darting across the room after a toy mouse, or pouncing on specks of dust :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any kids while in foster care, I think I might like older kids (12+) who understand my preference for slow and steady introductions and trust-building. Once I feel safe and secure, my playful, chatty side shines through!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live with two other foster cats - and I'm totally obsessed with them! I'm always the first to initiate a play session and sidle in close for a cuddle.
Because of my need for a peaceful, relaxed environment, I have a feeling that dogs won't be a good match, unfortunately.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
