About Hera
Meet Hera, an adorable Mastiff mix who's at the start of her exciting journey into the world. At just four months old, Hera weighs 11kg, but she’s brimming with personality and a zest for life. This sweet-natured puppy has an outgoing and loving demeanor, and she'll be a wonderful addition to a home ready to embrace her puppy antics and boundless energy. We are not sure if she will grow to be a medium or large dog.
Hera loves people, and she's particularly fond of attention and treats, which makes her eager to learn and be trained. She's working on her lead training, but given her affection for treats and positive reinforcement, she'll undoubtedly catch on in no time. Hera shows off her intelligence with an impressive ability to come when called—mostly! Like any inquisitive puppy, she can sometimes get a little sidetracked by the curiosities around her. She's also just beginning her journey with toilet training.
Her adventurous nature is evident in her playful attempts to jump on the family cat, a behavior typical of curious pups in need of gentle correction and training. With patience and consistent guidance, Hera will quickly learn the ropes of harmonious co-existence with other animals.
If you're willing to invest a bit of time and diligence into training, you'll find that Hera's affectionate and enthusiastic spirit is more than rewarding. She’s on the lookout for a family ready to shower her with love and guidance as she grows into her paws. If your heart and home have space for a loving, playful, and eager-to-learn pup, Hera may be the perfect fit for your family.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
