Cookie is a beautiful 3-year-old former street cat who is looking for a patient, understanding and committed person to give her the loving home she deserves.

Cookie would thrive in a quiet, calm and predictable home where she can feel safe and secure. She is looking for a home with no other cats or animals and no children, ideally with an individual or couple who has previous experience with cats and understands feline behaviour.

Cookie can be affectionate, loving and incredibly rewarding once she feels comfortable. However, she has previously displayed rough play and occasional love-biting, particularly in situations where she may have felt overwhelmed or uncomfortable. For this reason, her new person must be willing to understand her boundaries, work patiently with her and, most importantly, never give up on her.

Cookie isn’t looking for a perfect home — she’s looking for the right home. With patience, consistency, understanding and plenty of love, we believe Cookie has the potential to become a wonderful companion and bring endless joy to the person who gives her that chance.

Cookie is currently looking for a foster-to-adopt opportunity, allowing the right person time to build a relationship with her and ensure that the environment is the right fit for everyone.
