About Tilly - 2 Year Old Domestic Short Hair
Tilly has been waiting for her forever home for over six months, and we can't understand why. This beautiful girl has come such a long way in foster care and is ready to find a family of her own.
While Tilly was initially shy and reserved, she has blossomed into an affectionate, playful and entertaining companion. She loves being around her people and will often hop straight onto your legs as soon as you sit down. One of her favourite places to sleep is curled up on her foster carer's lap, and she's always happy to soak up plenty of pats and head tickles.
Tilly is full of personality. She's always first to the food bowl, knows exactly where the treats are kept, and gets very excited at treat time. She loves chasing and playing with the resident cats, with plenty of zoomies, wrestling matches and games of chase around the house. She also has a particular obsession with cardboard boxes, happily hiding in them and chewing them to pieces.
She is an indoor-only cat and enjoys having plenty of toys and enrichment to keep her busy. Tilly does not enjoy being picked up, but she's very affectionate on her own terms and appreciates having her boundaries respected.
Tilly also has a mischievous side. If you accidentally leave the bathroom door open, don't be surprised to find an entire roll of toilet paper unrolled across the floor. She considers this a perfectly reasonable form of entertainment!
Tilly would suit a home where she can continue to build her confidence and be loved for the quirky, affectionate and playful cat she is. In return, she'll provide endless laughs, companionship and plenty of cuddles on the couch.
Her adoption fee is $200. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. She is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW.
