About Micolash
Meet Micolash
Micolash has grown in confidence during his time in shelter and now shows a clear affectionate side once he feels comfortable. When bonded, he seeks out interaction and enjoys bunting, head rubs, scratches, and may even climb onto your shoulders for closeness.
He is highly motivated by tasty treats like paste, which can be a great tool for building trust and supporting positive, consent-based interactions. Micolash responds best when given choice and space to approach at his own pace, and will thrive with gentle, cat-savvy handling.
While he has made great progress in care, Micolash may still take time to adjust in a new home environment. He will need a patient, understanding home that allows him to settle slowly and build confidence.
He would suit an adult home, though may also be okay with gentle, cat-savvy teenagers who respect his space and boundaries. Once settled, expect a loyal companion who always wants to be part of whatever you're doing.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
