Ludwig is a playful little bundle of energy with a very special trait, he is deaf. He’s wonderfully in tune with the world through sight and movement, and navigates life beautifully with routine and gentle guidance.

He loves toys and will happily chew on cardboard, paper, or sticks, then crash out in his safe place after a burst of play. Ludwig is house trained, travels well in the car, and plays and feeds nicely with other dogs—he’d do best with a calm, confident canine companion.

He can be a little hesitant in new situations (like walking alone or coming through a held door), but builds confidence quickly with encouragement and treats. He enjoys outings like the dog park but must stay on lead for safety.

Most of all, Ludwig is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to curl up on your lap for a cuddle. He’s looking for a patient, loving home that understands his needs and will embrace everything that makes him unique.

Currently located in Geraldton.

Typically, we try our best to match existing dogs with the opposite sex. From our experience this is best practice for the existing animal, the new addition, and the family. Please consider carefully if your existing pet would be ok with a new addition to the family before applying.

Even though we are based in Carnarvon, we have animals located in various locations and we can assist with some transport within Western Australia. Please check location of each animal before applying.
