About Honey
Meet Honey
True to her name, Honey is as sweet as they come. She absolutely adores being with her people and is happiest curled up inside by your side—preferably on the couch if she’s invited.
Honey gets along well with other dogs, but her heart really belongs to humans. She has that special way about her that makes everyone fall in love instantly… even the vet wasn’t immune.
She previously lived with an elderly couple who adored her, but when they moved into aged care, Honey was rehomed to a farm. Unfortunately, farm life just wasn’t her style. After a bit of a journey—and winning over more than a few vets and pound staff along the way—she was finally rescued by **Gladstone PAWS**, where she’s been given the chance she deserves.
When Honey came into care, she had a couple of lumps. While in-house testing didn’t show anything immediately concerning, it was decided the best course was to have them removed. Thanks to an incredible community fundraiser, she’s now had her surgery and is healed, happy, and ready for her forever home.
Honey is looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly relax—something quiet and settled would suit her perfectly. She’d thrive with someone who’s home often, perhaps a couple or individual whose kids have grown up and moved out, and who are looking for a loyal companion to share their days with.
If you’re after a gentle, affectionate dog who will stick by your side and fill your home with love, Honey might just be your perfect match.-
