About Star
Meet Star.
Star is looking for a quiet home environment with a family who can give her the time and space she needs to get settled and feel safe.
While Star does like to be around her people, she does enjoy having her own space when she feels overwhelmed. So a home with Adults only, or a family with secondary school-aged kids who can respect Star's boundaries will be best. Any children who live at home will need to be present in a meet and greet with Star.
Although she's still working on being around new people, she's shown some signs of separation distress when left alone. So a family that has someone home most of the time would be perfect for this sensitive girl. She would benefit from routine independence training to build her confidence while she's home alone.
Star has shown us that she's not the biggest fan of other dogs. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She will need some help from her adopters to learn that dogs aren't actually so scary!
While Star has some behaviour challenges and fears to work through, we can see a sweet, confident pup in her and can't wait to see her shine in her new home!
If you think you could give Star everything she's looking for, come down today to meet her.
xx,
Star, 18kg
