Nature
This sweet little girl is full of purrs and delight. She might act shy and take a while to warm up to you, but when she chooses to adore you as much as you adore her, you will be greatly rewarded.

Her quiet and sweet nature should not be underestimated. She thunderpaws up and down the hallways like the best of them. We are confident she is the primary instigator of chaos in the kitten room.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Despite not having any interactions with small kids, we have no doubt that she would love them as much as the bigger humans.

Pumpernickel enjoys hanging out with her kitten roomie, Bagel, and is living with other adult cats at the moment. She is a little unsure interacting with them, but given an appropriate slow introduction she will likely get along with other cats.

Pumpernickel has not met any dogs yet, so a slow interaction with a canine friend would be required.

Likes / Dislikes
Pumpernickel loves playing with her toys, chasing a wand toy and knocking items off tabletops. Everything is a toy if it moves when batted with a paw! She has what seems to be endless energy for play, until of course she crashes out for a restorative snooze. She loves being patted and will beg for pats with her loud purrs.

Loud noises and strangers can be a little scary at first, but it doesn’t take long to get used to them.

My PURR-fect home would be with humans who are able to give me lots of attention, safe areas to play in and a warm lap to snuggle on.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Pumpernickel had Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
