About Delilah
Delilah is a sweet, sensitive girl who is slowly learning that the world isn't so scary. She can be a little nervous at first, but she's starting to show her friendly side and enjoys gentle company once she feels safe.
She would thrive in a calm, quiet adult home, and may also suit one with cat-savvy, gentle teens who understand her need for patience and space. Delilah isn't one to rush into attention, but she's gaining confidence every day and beginning to seek out affection in her own quiet way.
She loves cozy hiding spots, soft bedding, and watching the world from a safe perch. With time, consistency, and kindness, she will continue to blossom.
If you're happy to go at her pace, Delilah will reward you with a special, trusting bond.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
