About Mina
Mina is an adorable little kitten who loves a lap and a cuddle. She's like a lap boomerang. If you try to move her off your lap (if unreasonably you have something that needs doing) and you don't move fast enough, she will just jump straight back on.
If the humans aren't sitting down, then she's happy playing with her toys or trying to make friends with the other cats in her foster home (which meanly they have been resisting).
She loves her food and the one thing that will willing get her off a lap is if someone shakes a food pouch.
She's pretty confident and will come up to new people to meet them when they come into her foster home. She's fostered in a home with teenage kids who are forever scooping her up for a cuddle, and she loves it. We reckon she's be fine in a household with younger kids too. As long as their are laps to be had, she will be happy.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
