About Lacie
Meet Lacie, a beautiful and affectionate dog caught between the world of playful antics and steadfast loyalty. With a vibrant personality, she thrives around people, embodying a loving temperament that's both friendly and gentle. Lacie, weighing in at a trim 18-20 kilograms, is highly active, making her an excellent fit for those who love spending time outdoors, walking, playing, and exploring. Her time at the Bathurst Correctional Centre, where she underwent training as a support dog for veterans, testifies to her intelligence and gentle nature.
Whether indoors or outdoors, Lacie seamlessly transitions between the two environments, embracing her surroundings with keen observation and care, yet her disposition is far from aggressive. If there's a cat at home, Lacie can become great friends with proper introduction. She gets along with Thor, the dog she currently resides with, though she can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs. With children, she is a bundle of joy, though her excitement can occasionally translate into unawareness of her size.
Lacie is a true companion who desires the company of her humans and adapts well when given attention and love. She is fully house-trained and does not suffer from separation anxiety, making her a reliable and content canine partner. Her playful nature and loyalty make her an ideal fit for an energetic family.
Lacie boasts an enviable repertoire of obedience skills—she knows how to sit, lie down, roll over, turn around, stand, bark, shake hands, stay, and even guard—all guided by hand signals. Her current living environment includes a crate, although she dreams of a new family foster her zest for life and help her thrive in a loving home, ideally alongside her canine buddy, Thor. With her need for a secure yard, Lacie promises a future owner a deserving blend of joy and the gift of companionship that is truly one of a kind.
