About Thor
Meet Thor, a strikingly beautiful Staffy with a personality as strong and endearing as his namesake. Weighing in at 20kg, this loving, gentle soul is a perfect companion for families with children. Thor's delightful personality is gentle and affectionate. Whether he's being goofy and playful or simply enjoying the company of his favourite humans, he brings joy wherever he goes. He's wonderfully attuned to children—his experience growing up with them has polished his playful and protective natures into gentle companionship.
Though he's initially cautious with strangers, Thor quickly warms up and shows his loyal and protective side. He's house-trained and happily splits his time between lounging indoors and exploring the outdoors. However, while he's quite polite with people, he's had challenging experiences with other dogs at the vet, so he's best suited as a companion to his bonded friend, Lacie, a 13-year-old cattle dog with whom he shares a tight-knit bond.
A secure yard for Thor is a necessity in his ideal home. He's fully crate-trained and quite obedient, following commands such as "sit," "come," "lay down," and even "shake." He does experience some separation anxiety; still, with Lacie by his side and with some patient reassurance, he settles down comfortably.
Thor's perfect home would be with a family that can provide ample love, attention, and a safe, secure yard for his playful antics.
His future adopter should be prepared to continue guiding his social skills and enjoy the warm companionship he and Lacie offer together. If you have a soft spot for a cuddly duo and are in search of a loyal companion, consider giving Thor (and Lacie) the loving, patient home they deserve.
