About Jack SUA014813 Gus SUA014812
Jack & Gus are a stunning pair of bonded brothers who have never spent a day apart—and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Devoted to each other, these boys share a beautiful connection and are looking for a home where they can continue their journey side by side.
Gus is the quieter, more sensitive of the two, often taking his cues from his more confident brother Jack, who tends to lead the way. In a new environment, both boys will need a little time and patience to settle in and build trust. Once they feel safe, their true personalities begin to shine—revealing two affectionate, gentle companions who form strong bonds with their people.
They love to play, especially when it comes to chasing balls, and enjoy interactive time with those they trust. While they are friendly and loving, Jack and Gus are best suited to a calm, quiet home. Loud or busy environments, as well as young children, are overwhelming for them, so a peaceful household will help them feel secure and thrive.
Having never ventured outdoors, Jack and Gus are strictly indoor-only cats and will need a safe indoor environment where they can continue to feel protected.
If you’re looking to welcome a sweet, sensitive pair who will reward your patience with deep affection and companionship, Jack & Gus could be the perfect match.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
