🐾 Winifred (Freddie) – Gentle Soul 🐾

Winifred — or Freddie, or just Fred — is a soft, sweet girl who has come such a long way, and it’s been pretty special to watch.

Since settling in and feeling better in herself, Freddie has really started to come out of her shell. She’s still on the shy side, but there’s a growing confidence there now — a little curiosity, a little bravery — and you can see her starting to enjoy the world around her.

She’s been exploring more, engaging more, and when she feels comfortable, she absolutely melts into affection. Gentle pats will have her purring away, and a feather toy is often all it takes to bring out her playful side.

She still appreciates having a safe space (under the bed is a current favourite 😄), and will always do best in a home that understands she might need a moment here and there — but she’s no longer just watching from the sidelines. She’s starting to join in.

Freddie is a very easy, low-maintenance girl with a calm, docile nature. She’s also very food-motivated (Churus are still her weakness!), which makes building trust with her a really rewarding experience.

She continues to do beautifully with other cats, and in fact, she and Jones have become great little friends — so if you were looking for a ready-made duo, they would be a lovely option together.

Freddie will suit a calm, patient home that’s happy to let her confidence continue to grow at her own pace. She will need to be kept as an indoor-only girl unless there is a secure outdoor enclosure, and she is fully vet worked and ready for adoption. As always, she comes with lifetime rescue backup — we’re here for her (and you) every step of the way.

Freddie is one of those cats where the quiet wins — give her a little time, and she’ll reward you with the softest, sweetest kind of companionship. 💛
