Bruno Mars is a respectful young dog who is loving and quick to pick up new skills.

He is always interested in socialising and has learnt to live and play politely with a mentor resident dog.

He loves rounding up his herding ball, fetching, stalking, and running down his flirt pole toy. He has mild separation anxiety, but calms down after a short time.

Bruno Mars tells you when he wants to play, go outside, or for a walk, as Kelpies are known to do. He will even herd you around and nudge your leg for attention or comfort, which he’s learning to back off. He does scratch at doors a bit until he gets attention or gives up. A dog door and training would likely remedy this behaviour.

When he’s finished using up his playful energy, he will sleep for hours. He needs a medium or large backyard or somewhere to sprint!

This superstar of a dog can sit, wait, leave toys on command and walks well on a loose leash after only 2 weeks of training. He is keen to hop in the car for a drive.

Bruno Mars likes a cuddle from time to time, is a little jumpy when humans are coming or going, and will often follow you around to make sure his pack members are all good! Great with the elderly, kids 5 years and older and untested with cats.

He can be kept amused and redirected with enrichment puzzles and a sturdy treat. He is an early riser who yips when he’s bored and keen to get moving for bursts of activity throughout the day.
