Meet BERTHA. Affectionately known as big bad Bertha.

Is she bad? Well aren't we all a little bad?
Bertha is a misunderstood big beautiful girl who is lovely and happy for pats and snuggles as long as you also give her space when she wants it
Bertha loves to come up to you for pats and brush against your leg for cuddles. She is the sweetest thing! She loves to meow and talk to you about what she would like in life. A very chatty girl if you are willing to listen.

🙅♀️ the vet (honestly who likes a thermometer stuck up their bottom and a needle given to them)
🙅♀️ cuddles (she will tolerate being picked up but does not love too many cuddles)
While Bertha loves people she also needs her people to read the room and understand when she has had enough. She can get annoyed with too much attention lets you know quickly and if left alone to blow off some steam, recovers from her little outburst and returns to being a lovely cat again.
Bertha is a domestic shorthaired cat with a dark grey and white coat. Her markings are beautiful and really highlight her face. This girl also has half a tail, a little odd, but something that certainly makes her look cute.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
