About Sophie

Small but mighty, Sophie is a tiny tabby dynamo with a whole lot of personality packed into her fluffy little frame. This medium-haired pocket rocket is equal parts explorer and cuddle bug - zooming after her favourite jingling toys one minute, then curling up beside you for a well-earned nap the next 💤✨ Her soft tabby coat, bright curious eyes and ever-busy paws make her an absolute joy to watch as she tackles life with confidence and enthusiasm.
Sophie is wonderfully adaptable and takes everything in her stride - from lively households to meeting new people. She’s been tested with children both big and small and handles it all like a pro - gentle, playful and completely unfazed by the chaos of busy little humans 🎈 When she’s in “hunt mode,” chasing anything that rattles or jingles, she’s all business… but once the mission is complete, she’s more than happy to soak up pats and settle in close. Just don’t underestimate her climbing skills - this clever girl will absolutely scale a fly screen if given the chance 😂
She also has a social side, getting along easily with other cats and especially enjoying the company of her siblings. Like any young kitten, she’s still learning the finer points of kitty etiquette (particularly when it comes to giving older cats their space), but her friendly, easygoing nature means she fits in just about anywhere 🐾
Like all Maggie’s pets, Sophie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

A home ready for an active, playful kitten, with either a companion animal or people around most of the time to keep her company.
MY ENERGY LEVEL:
High kitten energy—playful, curious and always ready for her next adventure, balanced with sweet nap-time cuddles.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
Excellent—tested with young children and very gentle, confident and playful with them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
Great with other cats and enjoys their company (but not essential); not tested with dogs but likely to adapt with slow, thoughtful introductions.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
