About Steve
Meet Steve šš¾
Steveās story starts a little rough but ends with a whole lot of personality. Found all alone on the streets at just 3 weeks old, this tiny survivor was bottle-fed and hand-raised by our amazing foster carersāand he has grown into one seriously confident little dude.
And yes⦠he is extremely cute š but Steve is not your typical smoochy kitten. Heās a full-energy, no-chill kind of boy who would much rather spend his day tearing around, wrestling, and launching himself at toys than curling up for cuddles. In fact, most of the time when you reach to pat him, he thinks itās game on and turns it into playtime (and maybe a cheeky attack š). We want to be really transparentāSteve just isnāt overly affectionate right now, and pats are still something heās learning to enjoy rather than pounce on.
What he does bring is endless entertainment. Steve is crazy, funny, over-active, and full of cheeky confidence. He pushes boundaries, keeps you on your toes, and will have you laughing daily with his wild antics. If youāre looking for a calm, gentle lap kitten⦠Steve is absolutely not that š but if you want a bold, hilarious little whirlwind, heās your guy.
Because of his rough play style and high energy, Steve isnāt suited to homes with young kids. He will, however, thrive in a home with another playful cat or a dogāhe needs an animal companion to match his energy and keep him busy š¶š±
Steve is the definition of āno chillā and will suit someone who appreciates a kitten with a big personality and even bigger zoomies. He might not be the cuddliest boy, but heās unforgettable, full of life, and guaranteed to bring chaos and joy in equal measure š„š¾

www.rockyroadsrescue.org
Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.
We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of āsingle kitten syndromeā to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a catsās personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them soloāthis will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
Thank you for helping us give these kittens the loving, social homes they deserve!
