Meet our brave little girl MeiMei💛

This sweet soul came into care when she was removed from a puppy farm with 22 others. She spent her entire life without human contact and in horrible conditions. Because of this, the world is still a big and sometimes scary place for her. She can be wary at first, but beneath that uncertainty is an incredibly clever, gentle soul who is already showing just how much she wants to trust.

She’s made amazing progress in a short time — from being completely shut down to now choosing to sit beside her humans on the couch and sleep at the foot of the bed. She’s even starting to enjoy belly rubs 🐾

She is:
• Toilet trained (uses a doggy door)
• Learning to walk on lead
• Not food aggressive or dominant
• Calm when left with another dog (not destructive)
• Non-shedding (her coat will require regular grooming and maintenance)

What she needs most is a patient, understanding human and a confident “mentor dog” to help show her how to be a dog. With the right support, she will continue to blossom.

Because she is still learning about safety, secure fencing is essential — she may try to go under fences initially as she looks for places to hide.

This is a truly special dog for someone willing to give her the time and kindness she deserves. Watching her learn to trust is incredibly rewarding.
