About Jack
Playful, Bright And Full Of Spark!
Meet Jack, a lively little Jack Russell with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This friendly boy loves being around people and thrives on interaction, but the shelter environment has been stressful for him. He’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can decompress and feel safe. Jack communicates clearly through his body language and may show some discomfort with handling at first, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can build trust at his pace and create positive associations through gentle, reward‑based training.
Jack is an active pup who enjoys getting out and about. For a small dog, he’s moderately strong on the lead and appreciates someone who can guide him with confidence. He absolutely lights up when toys come out, playtime is one of his favourite ways to bond and burn off energy. While he can be a little scared during vet visits, reassurance and slow, positive introductions will help him feel more secure over time.
Because Jack is still working on feeling comfortable with handling and new experiences, he’s best suited to a dog‑only home at this stage, with ongoing positive training to support his progress. He's also not a fan of cats so cat-free please. He’s good with children and would enjoy a family who can respect his boundaries while still giving him plenty of fun, structure, and affection. With the right environment, Jack will blossom into the cheerful, confident companion he’s meant to be.
If you’re looking for a spirited, playful little dog who just needs someone to believe in him, Jack is ready to start his next chapter. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet this adorable little boy. 💕
