About Bonnie and Boss
Bonnie and Boss are a deeply bonded pair who rely on each other for comfort, stability, and confidence, so they must stay together. Being separated causes them noticeable stress, and they truly thrive as a team. They’re looking for a calm, patient foster home where someone is around often and can give them the reassurance and routine they need. With no other pets in the home and children aged 10+, they’ll have the space and predictability that helps them settle.
Bonnie is a vibrant, affectionate girl who adores people and seeks out engagement from everyone she meets. She’s boisterous, vocal, and finding the shelter environment increasingly stressful the longer she stays. On lead she’s strong and needs a confident handler who can guide her with calm structure. She’s extremely food‑motivated, and while she’s fed separately at the shelter, it’s only because she and Boss like to swap bowls, not due to aggression.
Boss is a sweet, friendly little guy with a gentle nature. He can be a bit shy with new people at first, but he warms up quickly and enjoys attention once he feels safe. He walks nicely on lead, is comfortable being picked up, and is mostly house‑trained. He takes a lot of emotional cues from Bonnie, so staying together helps him feel secure and confident.
Together, Bonnie and Boss are a loving duo who will reward a patient foster carer with companionship, affection, and plenty of personality. They need a stable home environment, someone home much of the time, and a willingness to support Bonnie’s stress and Boss’s sensitivity as they decompress.
