About Ivy
Hi...I'm Ivy 🤍
I'm a clever, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. I love being involved in whatever my humans are doing - whether that's hopping in the car for an adventure, relaxing in the sunshine, or supervising the household activities a little too closely. I'm happiest when I'm included.
I adore other dogs and have lived happily with a dog friend before, though I can be a bit much for calmer dogs because I have lots of energy and enthusiasm to share! I'm friendly and eager when meeting new dogs, and I would love an active home that can keep both my mind and body busy.
I'm very food motivated and super smart, which means training with me can be really rewarding. I already know sit, paw, wait, here, place training, and threshold manners too! I walk best on a harness, love enrichment games, and really enjoy having things to do. I'm still learning how to make good choices around the house, so I'll need a family committed to continuing my training and helping me channel my busy puppy brain in positive ways.
Because I'm still learning about life with humans, I'd do best with someone home more often than not - someone patient, consistent, and ready to guide me as I mature. I can get a little mouthy and boisterous during play, so I'd likely suit a home with adults or older kids who can help reinforce my training.
I'm crate trained, great in the car, and I even settle beautifully in busy environments once I've had a chance to take everything in. I've gone along to footy games, visited Bunnings, and happily snoozed beside my people after all the excitement. Loud noises can still worry me sometimes, but with reassurance I continue to grow in confidence every day.
I'd love a home with secure fencing, lots of enrichment, and people who understand that underneath all my cheeky antics is a bright, loving girl still figuring out the world.
All I need now...is my forever home.
Love,
Ivy
