Hi...I'm Layla 🤍

I've been dreaming about you.

I'm a gentle soul with a mountain of love to give. I might not be the loudest or the boldest, but if you're looking for a best friend who will sit beside you, walk with you, and simply be with you - I think we might be perfect for each other.

I really love other dogs, especially the ones who are kind and calm like me. I enjoy their company and feel happiest when things are peaceful and relaxed. I've been told I have lovely manners (I try my best!), and I walk nicely on my lead so we can enjoy exploring the world together.

I do have a little request...I'd love a home where I can have both indoor and outdoor access. Being close to my people means everything to me, but I also enjoy a bit of fresh air and sunshine. A balance of both would make my heart so full.

I'm also quite clever when it comes to food puzzles and enrichment games - they're so much fun! I'd love a family who can keep my mind busy and my body moving with regular exercise and little challenges.

I should tell you...my journey hasn't been the easiest. I came all the way from a faraway island in Far North Queensland, and I spent some time getting the care I needed, including treatment for my skin. I even stayed in foster care while I healed. It was a long road, but I was very brave (even if I say so myself). And now...I'm healthy, happy, and so ready to start my next chapter.

All I need now...is my forever home.
