Pedro is a distinguished gentleman in a soft blue-grey coat, with a heart as big as his love for cuddles.

This smoochy senior boy is incredibly friendly and thrives on human company. He adores being held, will happily chat away to you throughout the day, and has a knack for finding (or creating!) the cosiest little sleeping spots – often nestled into your clothes so he can keep your scent close.

Pedro came into SACR care after his loving owner sadly passed away, and while that chapter of his life has closed, he’s shown just how beautifully he can adapt. He’s taken everything in stride and is ready to share his gentle, affectionate nature with a new family.

Pedro is a champion lounger. Whether it’s a comfy chair, the couch, or a sunny spot on an enclosed deck, he’s happiest when he’s stretched out, soaking up the warmth and watching the world go by. Despite his age, he still has a wonderfully playful side – he’ll chase a wand toy with enthusiasm and bat around a ball like a kitten at heart.

He’s adapted beautifully to indoor life and new routines, uses his litter tray perfectly, and is in great health. Pedro has had most of his teeth removed, but that doesn’t slow him down – he happily enjoys both wet food (gravy is his favourite) and biscuits. He’s also been on a gentle health journey and is looking fantastic after slimming down to a much healthier weight.

Pedro gets along well with other respectful pets and has been living peacefully with both cats and a dog. He’s incredibly patient (even with kids!) but does appreciate others giving him his space when needed. Regular nail trims will help keep this big boy comfortable.

With his loving nature, gentle charm, and surprisingly playful spirit, Pedro is the kind of cat who will quickly become the heart of the home.
