Meet Frankie 🐾 (almost 4 years old)

Frankie is a loving, loyal little companion looking for a calm, caring home where he can truly thrive. He’s a big snuggler with so much love to give, and he’s happiest when he’s close to his people.

✨ 5 things Frankie would LOVE in his new home:
• A sunny yard – he absolutely loves to sunbake ☀️
• Plenty of companionship and cuddles
• A calm, patient environment
• A doggy door (we can provide a sliding door insert!) so he can come and go
• Treats – he’s very food motivated 🍖

🚫 5 things Frankie wouldn’t enjoy:
• Loud or chaotic environments
• Being left outside for long periods
• Homes with constant new visitors (he needs slow introductions)
• Being left alone for long hours during the day
• Feeling rejected – he thrives on closeness and affection

🐶 About Frankie:
Frankie has grown up alongside a young child and is gentle and loving, but as toddlers can sometimes be unpredictable, he may be better suited to a home with slightly older children who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs.

Frankie enjoys the company of other dogs once he gets to know them and could benefit from a canine companion. He can be a little reactive on the lead with unfamiliar dogs, as well as runners or bikes, but with patience, training, and positive reinforcement (treats help!), he continues to improve.

He does experience some separation anxiety and may bark or cry briefly when left alone, so he would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time—ideally someone who works from home, is retired, or simply enjoys being home.

🏡 His ideal home:
A patient, loving person or family who can continue his training, provide stability, and return the affection he gives so freely. Frankie is an indoor dog who loves lounging, sleeping at the foot of the bed, and being your constant companion.

He’s also known to sneak socks, slippers, or unattended food—so a tidy home and a watchful eye will go a long way! 😄

Frankie truly is the ultimate cuddle buddy with a huge heart. He just needs the right person to match his love and give him the secure, happy life he deserves. ❤️
