Teddy

Teddy is a sweet, goofy and affectionate boy.

He is a very smart boy who loves food. He loves using puzzles toys and snuffle items to find food. We recommend feeding his meals through enrichment items. He would love regular mental and physical enrichment opportunities.

He would love ongoing training to work on his basics manners and to learn new cues.

He can a bit unsure in the shelter. Would do well in a family that can give him the time he needs to settle into the home. Once he is comfortable, he's a soft wiggly boy that loves to lean into you for pats and attention.

He loves his toys. Engages in self-play, he tends to try and find a soft toy he can carry in his mouth when feeling excited or overwhelmed. He can make loud, woofing noises with his toy when excited.

Open to the right family, can be jumpy when excited but responds well to cues. Must meet at time of adoption.

Recommend a single dog home for Teddy as he has been very tense and unsure with other dogs but was able to meet on a walkout with a very calm dog, however it took a little while for him to work through. May do ok in the future once he is more established in the home.
