Hello, I'm Barley

I may be small, but I've got a big personality packed into this fluffy little body. I'm a guinea pig who takes life seriously... especially when it comes to snacks. If you've got fresh veggies, we're already off to a great start.

I can be a bit cautious at first-new sounds and sudden movements make me freeze like a tiny statue-but give me a little time and you'll start to hear my happy wheeks when I recognise you (especially around feeding time... I don't miss a schedule). Once I feel safe, I'm curious, chatty, and surprisingly bold.

I love a cozy hidey house where I can retreat and relax, but I'm also happy to come out and explore when things are calm. Routine is my best friend, and I thrive in a gentle, predictable environment where I know what to expect.

Like all guinea pigs, I'd really love a friend of my own kind to keep me company-it helps me feel more confident and brings out my playful side. Together, we can chatter, snack, and keep each other entertained.
