About Pippi
Pippi is a desexed female Ragdoll available for adoption in Clarence Town (Hunter Valley, NSW).
Pippi is a cat with a whole lot of personality packed into a very sweet package.
Playful, inquisitive, and genuinely affectionate, she has a wonderful way of letting you know exactly what she needs — usually with one soft, deliberate paw placed right on your hand.
She's a bright, active girl who loves exploring the outdoors in the morning before settling in for a cosy day at home. Pippi moves through the world with curiosity and confidence, always alert to what's happening around her.
With the people she trusts, Pippi is completely herself — playful and cheeky, with the most endearing little meow she reserves for her favourite moments, like breakfast time or when she's decided a cuddle is in order.
A little about Pippi:
🐾 Communicates with a gentle paw-tap when she wants your attention
🐾 Loves heading outside first thing in the morning, then coming in to find her favourite snuggly spot
🐾 Fully vaccinated, desexed, and up to date with Bravecto Plus for flea, tick, and worming protection
🐾 Well-practised car traveller — comfortable in her crate for trips up to a few hours
🐾 A toy mouse and treat enthusiast — she brings real energy to playtime
Mornings with Pippi start outdoors. She loves a wander and some fresh air before coming back in for her biscuits, grazing through the day, and eventually settling into her favourite comfortable spot. By late afternoon, wet food signals the end of the day — and she knows exactly when it's coming.
Her cutest party trick is the paw-tap. Whether she wants a scratch, a treat, or simply to remind you she exists, she'll reach out and place her paw on you with quiet, deliberate charm. It's hard not to smile every single time.
Pippi has a lovely way of sussing new people out before she decides to make her move — and when she does come to you, it feels genuinely earned. A calm, unhurried approach is all she needs.
She'd flourish in a calm, settled household — ideally with adults who are home reasonably often and can offer her the gentle daily connection she enjoys. A home with some outdoor access would suit her beautifully. She does best without dogs, and settles beautifully in a home where she's the centre of attention — and that's not hard to give her.
Pippi is ready for a household that will let her relax fully, play freely, and be exactly who she is. Confident, curious, and completely loveable — a cat with real personality and a warm, curious spirit who'll make absolutely sure you know she's there.
FAQ
Is Pippi good with strangers?
She takes a little time to assess new people, but she comes around beautifully with a calm, unhurried approach — once she's decided you're alright, you'll know it.
Does Pippi need to go outside?
She loves a morning wander, but she's used to an indoor lifestyle and comes and goes comfortably. A home with some safe outdoor access would be a lovely bonus, but she's well-adjusted either way.
Is Pippi suited to a home with children or other pets?
Pippi does best in an adult household and without a resident dog. She's happiest as the star of the show — somewhere calm where she can feel settled and secure.
How much attention does Pippi need day to day?
She's wonderfully self-sufficient during the day — but she does enjoy that daily connection, especially in the evenings. A household that's home reasonably often and happy to engage in a play session or a cuddle will be a great fit.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
