About Meekah
Introducing the happiest Rotty girl to walk the earth , the beautiful Meekah.
Meekah is a sweet, big-hearted girl whoâs happiest when sheâs hanging out with her favourite humans. Gentle and affectionate, she says hello to everyone with a wag and a smileâwhether they have two legs or four. Always curious and ready for her next little adventure, Meekah will thrive with steady guidance and lots of love, and sheâll repay you with loyal, goofy, feel-good companionship.
Meekah is a sweet, people-loving dog whoâs always up for a bit of company. Sheâs gentle by nature and equally happy soaking up a quiet cuddle or supervising the familyâs daily routine like sheâs the house manager lol
Meekah gets a burst of excitement the moment she spots peopleâkids, adults, anyone who looks like they might say hello! On walks, sheâs all go-go-go: tail wagging, nose working overtime, and ready to zoom off on a sniffari to check out every new sight and smell. Even when sheâs excited, she keeps her manners and is lovely to handle.
Meekah is a bright girl who takes to training quickly. From what we can see, she appears to have been well looked after and has come to us with a solid foundationâshe already knows her basic commands. With a bit of ongoing practice and enrichment, sheâll continue to shine as a loyal, well-mannered companion
Meekah is a calm girl who may get a little excited when she spots other dogs, but sheâs never aggressiveâsheâs simply curious and keen to say hello. She hasnât been tested with cats, however sheâs shown no issues around birds in the home.
Meekah can be a little fussy when it comes to food. She does best with two meals a dayâone small in the morning and one at nightâand will happily enjoy a few light snacks in between
Meekah manages outside alone if she needs to, but sheâd much rather be right in the middle of whatever her people are doing. Toys donât really impress herâsheâs more of a âquality time and belly rubsâ kind of girl.
Meekah loves a warm shower outside and is very relaxed during bath timesâespecially when her humans stay close by. As long as she has her people with her, sheâll happily stand and let you get the job done, so grooming is simple and stress-free.
Meekah is happy sleeping both inside and outside. When sheâs indoors, sheâs very well trained and will settle on her bed and stay there until morning. She also handles sleeping outside well too, provided she has a safe, secure space with good shelter.
Meekah brings plenty of sparkle to her walks, sheâs got lots of energy on the lead, but keeps it gentle and friendly. She loves to explore with her nose in the driverâs seat, turning every stroll into a mini âsniffariâ as she investigates all the sights and smells along the way.
Inside the home, Meekah is happiest when sheâs close to her people. She settles in well, loves soaking up pats and attention, and enjoys being part of the household routine. With her friendly, gentle nature and a curious streak, sheâs a lovely little companion who responds well to guidanceâand will very happily âhelpâ with whatever youâre doing by being right there (quality control is her specialty).
She is very well behaved in the presence of other dogs with the interactions we have had her in but honestly Meekah has little to no interest in dogs .. she just adores humans better so we feel she would much prefer a home where she is the one and only and doesn't have to share the affection and attention.
Ideal Home-
Meekah is a loyal, loving companion who would suit just about any family willing to give her the time, attention and affection she deserves. Sheâll thrive in a home where sheâs included as part of daily life, with regular interaction and a safe, secure space to relax. While sheâs a Rottie, sheâs not much of a guard dogâsheâs far more interested in being your best mate than being on security duty.
ADOPTION CRITEREA
Meekah would love a home with a good size yard with grass.shade and shelter with secure fencing
A home where her family is not away from the home for really long extended hours and when they are home she is inside and an integral part of the day to day events.
We have not tested her with cats but she does live in a home now that has indoor birds without issues.
A home that will take her for a daily outing and plenty of weekend inclusion into family life
As we stated earlier, although Meekah is polite and very neural around other dogs we feel she would much prefer to be an only dog who is the one and only for affection lol
Children in the home are a bonus as she adores them but we would be seeking mature dog savvy and children who respect dogs boundaries
