Hello, I'm Ora, a gentle, sweet-natured girl has certainly come out of her shell since I have been in care. This might be due to the fact that I was injured when I was taken in by the Angels.

Now that I am completely healed, I have become much more playful and zoom around the house like a torpedo. After chasing around the living room with my fellow fosters, I love nothing more than a nice warm lap to sleep on. If you are wearing a floofy oodie even better and then I can start making biscuits.

I have a calm and affectionate personality that makes me a lovely companion. At bedtime, you'll find me eagerly waiting to join you, as sleeping beside my favourite people is one of my greatest joys. I'm not one to demand attention or hold lengthy conversations - I save my meows for when they really matter - but I quietly show my love through cuddles, purrs and simply being close to you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Because of my gentle and easy-going nature, I would likely settle well into many different family situations where I am given time to adjust. I am happy to snooze the day away waiting for my family to arrive home after work, or with a busy family that is home most of the time. I am a very adaptable kitty.

In foster care, I've happily lived alongside kittens of all ages and have also met the resident adult cats. With a gentle introduction, I would be very happy sharing my home with another friendly feline companion. I am super gentle with the tiniest of kittens.

I've also met the resident dog, who is calm and respectful of cats. While I prefer to take things at my own pace, I was comfortable around him and would do well in a home with a cat-friendly dog after proper introductions.

Another friendly cat in my new home would be wonderful, but most importantly, I'm looking for a family who will cherish the loving, loyal little companion I've become.

Likes / Dislikes
I absolutely love chasing toy balls, zooming through tunnels and playing games with my feline friends.

Cat trees are another favourite pastime - especially when I can claim the highest perch and supervise my kingdom from above. Breakfast time is always exciting, and when playtime is over, nothing beats stretching out somewhere cosy for a well-earned nap.

Not much to dislike in my kingdom!

My PURR-fect home would be where I can enjoy the best of both worlds - plenty of love and companionship, along with cosy spots to relax and recharge. Whether you work from home, are retired, or have a busy family household, I'll happily fit into your routine as long as there are cuddles available in the evenings. Add in some toys, a cat tree, a comfy bed (preferably yours!) and I'll be one very happy girl!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Ora's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Ora came into care with a fracture involving her left hip socket (acetabulum). Follow-up X-rays have shown that the fracture has healed well, with the hip remaining stable and well aligned. She is currently comfortable, active and enjoying life.

Due to her injury, she may be prone to developing degenerative joint disease (arthritis) later in life. At present, she requires no treatment and shows no signs of discomfort. Her mobility should simply be monitored as she grows.
