Howdy! I’m Ora, a sweet and fairly quiet little girl who enjoys the peaceful life. I do have my playful, crazy moments with my friends, but when I’m on my own, I love long naps and snuggling on the couch with my human.

My favourite time is bedtime, I adore sharing the bed and will happily snore the night away beside you. I’m not demanding at breakfast, but I do love my food and always clean my bowl perfectly. I’m quite reserved and don’t meow much; I don’t waste my words!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
In my foster home, I live with kittens both younger and older than me. I’ve had a quick sniff and hello with the resident cats too, so with a slow introduction. I’m sure I could make friends with another feline.

I’ve also met the family dog, he’s very relaxed and cat-savvy, so while I like to give him a bit of space, I tolerate him well & would be ok if you had a slobbery dog already, just remember we will need proper introductions.

Likes / Dislikes
I love chasing little balls around and playing in tunnels, especially if I have a friend to chase! Breakfast is one of my favourite times of the day, and I really enjoy climbing cat trees, whether big or small, to nap on top and watch over my kingdom.

I’m still getting used to the noisy vacuum cleaner, but I’m improving every day.

My PURR-fect home would be where my humans are around often, whether that’s a family coming and going, someone who works from home, or a retired household. Even though I enjoy my quiet time, I really love evening snuggles. Another cat friend would be lovely, and with a gentle introduction, I’m sure we’d become best friends. A home full of toys and cat trees would make me very happy!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Ora’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Ora came into care with a small fracture in the left hip socket (acetabulum), it is not displaced and she is currently comfortable with only mild, occasional lameness. As she is not showing signs of pain, the vet has concluded that no treatment is required. There is a possibility she may develop arthritis in the future, and if the joint becomes painful or problematic later in life, she may require surgery such as a femoral head excision (FHE) to maintain comfort and mobility.
