About Maverick
Not every mystery can be solved... but Dr House is still willing to investigate.
I may greet you with a permanently unimpressed expression, like I've just reviewed your test results and found them mildly concerning. But despite the face, I'm actually quite a gentle soul. Thoughtful, observant, and a little reserved at first. I simply prefer to assess a situation before fully committing myself to it.
I've sadly been returned twice now, both through absolutely no fault of my own. It's been confusing, and if I'm honest, it's made me a little cautious about putting my heart out there too quickly. But I haven't given up on finding my person yet.
True to my name, I like to observe from a distance first. I'll quietly watch the room, study your habits, and decide whether you seem trustworthy enough to join my inner circle. Once I've made my diagnosis, though, my softer side starts to shine through. I enjoy affection, gentle company, and simply being near someone who understands that trust is something earned, not rushed.
I'm not the kind of cat who demands attention every second of the day. Instead, I'm the quiet companion who chooses to sit beside you, who slowly leans into pats, and who makes those little moments of connection feel incredibly special.
So if you've got a calm home, a patient heart, and room for one grumpy-faced but genuinely lovely little man, I think we might just be exactly what the other needs.
Diagnosis: thoughtful, quietly affectionate cat.
Prognosis: excellent, with the right home.
