About Ranger
Ranger is a striking 10 month old German Shepherd boy who is only just beginning to see what life can and should look like. He has come from a less than ideal situation and was taken into care before any lasting harm was done, giving him the chance to step into a very different future. Beneath it all is a lovely dog with a great deal to offer — affectionate, highly intelligent and deeply deserving of a home that will recognise his value and commit to helping him become all he is capable of being.
Like many dogs who have not had the right start, Ranger has had very little exposure to the wider world, so much of life is still new to him. The encouraging part is that he is already responding well to recent socialising under the guidance of his current carers. He is showing that with structure, calm leadership and continued positive experiences, he can keep moving forward. He is strong willed and he is not a dog for a novice home, but for someone experienced who understands the breed and appreciates the mind behind it, Ranger has the makings of a magnificent companion.
Ranger needs an experienced home that can offer clear boundaries, consistency and the time to continue building his confidence and life skills. This is a dog who deserves more than a backyard and good intentions. He deserves someone ready to invest properly in him and enjoy the reward of watching a truly special young dog come into his own.

Ranger is now in recovery from his recent sterilization so any viewings with prospective homes will be scheduled in due course.
We have chosen to make exclusions in this instance - but we will look at homes on a case by case basis. For example - we have said NO CATS - however if you have cats and able to keep separate - please still consider Ranger.
