About Caleb
Meet Caleb - a gentle soul with a shy side. He may take a little time to come out of his shell, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms into a loving companion who truly enjoys a good pat and a cozy snuggle.
Caleb is sensitive to noise and sudden movements, so he's looking for a calm home with adults or older teens who can offer him the slow, gentle encouragement he needs to build confidence at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his affectionate nature really shines.
He'll thrive in a home that can provide plenty of enrichment to keep him mentally engaged, along with a human who's happy to spend quality time cuddling and bonding with him.
Caleb is litter trained and will need to be kept indoors only, both for his safety and to protect his delicate features.
If you're someone who values a quiet connection and is ready to help a shy cat grow into a devoted companion, Caleb could be the perfect match for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
