About Belle
Meet Belle šš¾
Belle is a young female German Shepherd whose story hasnāt started the way it should have. At such a young age, she has already had a litter of puppies and has missed out on the love, care and guidance every dog deserves.
Since coming into care, Belle is beginning her journey of healing. She is currently underweight and is being carefully nurtured back to a healthy condition. Once she has gained the weight she needs, she will be desexed as part of her ongoing care.
Despite her past, Belle has the sweetest nature. She is social with other dogs, although she may bark initially due to a lack of confidence. With a little time and reassurance, she settles and shows her gentle, friendly side. What Belle truly craves most is human connection. She loves to stay right by your side, soaking up cuddles and affection that she has been denied for far too long.
Ongoing training and consistent lead work will be an important part of Belleās development. As a young German Shepherd, she will thrive with clear guidance, structure and positive reinforcement. Building her confidence through calm, controlled walks and continued social exposure will help her feel secure and understand what is expected of her. With the right approach, Belle has all the foundations to become a well mannered and balanced companion.
Belle is looking for a patient and understanding home that will continue to build her confidence, provide her with structure, and most importantly, include her as part of the family. She will thrive in a calm environment where she feels safe, secure and loved.
In return, Belle will reward you with loyalty, affection and a bond that only a rescue dog can give.
If you have room in your heart and home for this deserving young girl, Belle is ready to start her new life with you š
Belle is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria, If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet her. Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
