Yoshi is a 4ā5 month-old gentle, thoughtful boy with a curious mind and a heart full of quiet affection. Heās the kind of kitten who takes in the world around him with soft eyes and a calm presence, bringing a peaceful, comforting energy wherever he goes.
While Yoshi enjoys exploring and playing, he does so in his own wayāmore measured and thoughtful than his higher-energy friends. He loves engaging with toys (especially anything he can chase), and he really thrives when playtime is shared with his humans or other cats. Heās clever, observant, and always quietly taking everything in.
Yoshi is a beautiful mix of observer, explorer, and velcro companion. He enjoys his independence and will happily wander, investigate, and entertain himselfābut once heās ready to wind down, heāll come right back to you, seeking closeness and comfort.
And when itās cuddle time? Thatās where Yoshi truly shines š
He absolutely loves soft, warm spacesāblankets, cozy corners, and anywhere that feels safe and familiar. Heāll curl himself up into the coziest little ball and stay close to his people, soaking up affection and giving it right back. Heās incredibly loving and thrives on connection, just in a slightly more gentle and understated way.
Yoshi can be a little sensitive to loud or sudden noises at first, but he adjusts well once he feels secure. Because of this, he would do best in a home that isnāt overly chaoticāsomewhere he can relax, build confidence, and feel safe while still getting plenty of love and interaction.
Heās also a big foodie and will happily accept any tasty treats you offer, making bonding with him even easier š

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
