Meet Mac.

Mac is a quiet little soul who seems to have learned far too early that the world isn't always kind. Even in foster care, where patience and gentleness surrounded him, he stayed tucked away in himself, watching, waiting, only stepping forward when food was around. It's as if he's still trying to understand whether it's truly safe to be seen.

What's promising is that Mac finds comfort in other cats, gently leaning on them in ways he's not yet ready to with people. They help him feel a little less alone in a world that's still overwhelming.

What Mac needs is a home that sees him, even when he tries to disappear. A calm, understanding space where nothing is rushed, where love is offered without expectation, and where patience isn't just given, but lived every day. In the right home, with the right heart, Mac has the potential to slowly unfold into the cat he was always meant to be, one small, brave moment at a time.
