About Bonnie
Meet Bonnie, a charming and sweet-natured Maltese mix with a heart as gentle as her fluffy coat. Weighing in at an adorable 3.6kg and brimming with the sprightly energy of 1.5 years, Bonnie is ready to bring her unique blend of independence and companionship to her perfect new family.
At first glance, Bonnie is a shy, quiet little lady who might take some time to open up. But with patience and love, she reveals a playful side to her nature, especially around a fluffy canine friend. Not too much excitement, though—Bonnie prefers playmates who share her calm demeanor, and with whom she can engage without feeling overwhelmed. She enjoys human attention and affection and will soak up every bit of contact offered to her.
While Bonnie isn't quite proficient on a lead just yet, she's keen to learn. She comes when called... most of the time, adding a little bit of playful unpredictability to her charm. Her ideal environment provides a balance of independent exploration and companionship, allowing her the space she needs to blossom.
A calm, understanding home with the presence of another gentle dog would be perfect for Bonnie to truly become herself. If you are seeking a quietly affectionate partner on life's journey, Bonnie could be the one for you. She’s ready to offer her shy smiles and gentle heart to a kind, patient family.
Medical notes
Bonnie had dental scale and clean, she had a incisor removed.
She also has a underbite which adds to her cuteness but will need to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
