Meet Joey!

***This adorable little bundle of fun will be ready to leave his foster carers as soon as his final vaccination has been administered.***

Joey is full of life and always ready for action. Whether it’s wrestling, zooming around the yard, or playing with his toys, he brings energy and fun wherever he goes.

A typical cattle dog, Joey is already showing his natural instincts – including rounding things up and the occasional cheeky heel nips as he learns about the world around him.

***Joey will need an experienced owner who will commit to training and enrichment. Plenty of space will be needed along with a well behaved older dog dog to help guide Joey forward.***

He’s a busy, clever little pup who is curious about everything and loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. Always on the move, he’s exploring, learning, and finding ways to keep himself entertained.

Joey is also an affectionate boy who loves his food, enjoys getting out and about on adventures, and thrives on spending time with both his people and other dogs. Once he’s had a big day of being a puppy, he’s more than happy to crash out and recharge for the next round.

Joey is still very young and will need plenty of patience, gentle guidance, and support as he learns and grows.

He is currently working on his toilet training and is doing well. Joey sleeps in a crate overnight and will happily settle in an open crate during the day for naps. He travels well in the car and will usually fall asleep on the way.

Joey has already had great early exposure, including trips to horse shows, farm visits, and runs at the oval. He has been around horses, chickens, and lives comfortably with cats.

He will need a home committed to continuing his training, routine, and mental enrichment, as well as providing ongoing environmental exposure to build his confidence and set him up for success long term. With the right guidance, Joey will grow into a well-rounded, capable adult dog
