About Tarla
Tarla is a fun-loving, curious, and outgoing pup who’s ready to find her forever home! She brings joy wherever she goes, especially when there’s a ball to chase—her absolute favorite pastime. This sweet girl has a gentle, outgoing and has a friendly nature, making her a wonderful companion for families. She gets along great with children, other dogs, and even cats, making her an easy addition to a loving household.
Tarla is suited to a home with children over 7 years provided they were dog savvy and kind and respectful towards animals Tarla must have access inside and out at all times, be permitted to sleep inside of a night.
Like any young pup, Tarla is still learning about the big, exciting world around her. She can be a little hesitant when encountering new things, but with patience and encouragement, her confidence continues to grow every day. She is enthusiastic about everything and her whole-body wiggles when she sees you. She likes to learn about the world from other dogs around her and is growing more assertive every day.
Tarla is currently working on her potty training and making steady progress. She already knows how to sit on command and has started using a doggy door—such a smart girl!
We believe that Tarla is a mix of Beagle and Wolfhound and will grow to medium-large size - it is hard to say. She is your typical pup who will need ongoing training and socialisation and her new family must be committed to ongoing training and socialisation over the coming 12 months using only positive reward-based training methods to ensure that she continues to grow into a well-rounded canine citizen.
She has been socialised with many siblings and relatives so does love the company of other canines as such Tarla ideally would love another dog or two in the home. We will consider homes without another dog if you are able to keep up her socialisation with other dogs to keep her happy and contented and not be away from home for long periods of time.
If you're looking for a playful, outgoing, and loving companion who will grow and learn by your side, Tarla could be the perfect match for you.
If you think you have the pawfect home, please email sasrescue@gmail.com and tell us a little about the home you could offer.
The more we know about you and the home you can offer, the better we can ensure the perfect match for Tarla. 🐾
