About Austin
Austin Requires the following in his new home:
- An active lifestyle, not suited to appartments or units.
- A female desexed dog living in the home, not senior.
- To have the option of being inside when his people are home.
- Owners that can help him continue learning manners.
- A medium to large yard fully fenced.
- Continued toilet training, belly bands are useful for inside.
Meet Austin, he is a real "busy boy" looking for his best friends! Although he is small he has a lot of energy and is looking for an active lifestyle to spend with his people and a female desexed dog living in the home. Once Austin’s physical needs have been met he is ready for a snuggle on the sofa. He loves cuddles and walks in equal measure, though his enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of him.
Austin can be a little anxious and clingy and crate training is helping him feel more secure in his own space. While he is incredibly sweet, Austin is still learning his manners and can be quite jumpy and excitable, he needs a patient foster family experienced in dog training to help teach him inside manners. He sometimes marks inside and will need continued toilet training and management, belly bands are a good management tool for inside.
The dream home for Austin is one that embraces the "active" lifestyle—this boy is definitely not a couch potato! He requires daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep his busy mind occupied. A medium-to-large, fully secure yard is a must (not suited to units or apartments living). Austin would also thrive with a playful, desexed female dog who can keep up with his energy and help teach him.
If you have the experience to continue his manners training and the patience, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
