About Bunny
Bunny is a petite, black and white girl with the cutest little bunny face that is impossible not to fall in love with. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and loves nothing more than being close to her humans.
In the mornings, Bunny can still feel a little anxious before her medication has taken effect, but as the day goes on and she begins to relax, her beautiful personality really comes to life. By the afternoon she is much more settled, and in the evenings, she is full of energy, happily entertaining herself with toys and enjoying playtime.
Bunny absolutely loves affection. She has the loudest, happiest purr when you give her pats and will sweetly bump her head into your hand for more. If you happen to be on your phone, she may even nudge her head into it to remind you that she would much rather be receiving attention instead. She also enjoys curling up beside you on the couch, content simply being close to her people.
Bunny would do best in a calm, relaxed home with an adopter who understands that she may need a little time to settle and feel safe. With patience and kindness, she blossoms into the most loving, gentle companion who will reward you with endless affection and loyalty.
Medical notes
Bunny is currently receiving a daily dose of gabapentin to support her anxiety and help her feel more comfortable around people. This is a short-term measure to assist with her adjustment, and as she continues to build confidence and trust, we expect that her reliance on this medication will gradually reduce, with the goal of weaning her off under veterinary guidance.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
