Meet Private School 🎓🐾

Private School is the big softie of the litter—the ultimate cuddle bug who would happily spend all day in your arms if given the chance. Gentle, affectionate, and a little more sensitive than his siblings, he has a tender nature that makes him especially endearing. New experiences can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming at first, and he may look to his humans for reassurance—but he always finds his courage. Once he decides to be brave, he commits wholeheartedly, and it’s beautiful to watch his confidence grow.

Ideal Home
Private School would love a home where his humans are around often and happy to provide plenty of affection and reassurance. He thrives on connection and would suit someone who enjoys a close bond with their dog. A calm, confident canine sibling could help show him the ropes and build his confidence, though he would also do well as a solo dog with the right support.

Energy Level
Medium to high. Like any young puppy, he has bursts of playful energy and enjoys zooming around, especially when there’s a game of tug or a rope toy involved. That said, he has a wonderful “off switch” and is just as happy settling down for cuddles and quiet time.

Suitability with Children
Private School hasn’t met children yet, but as a young and gentle puppy, he would likely do well in a home with kids, provided there is proper supervision and respectful boundaries for both.

Suitability with Other Pets
He has been raised in a foster home with four dogs and three cats. He listens well to the adult dogs and is learning that cats prefer their space. He’s also attended daycare, where he’s been practicing his manners and enjoys meeting other dogs.

Private School is currently recovering from an unknown skin condition and has two small bald patches (on his thigh and elbow). These are healing well, the hair is starting to grow back, and they don’t bother him. The condition is not contagious. As he continues to recover from a rough start in life, he would benefit from a good skin and coat supplement to support his ongoing health.

He is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, bringing with him plenty of love, loyalty, and those signature snuggles.
