Meet Daisy! š
This 5-month-old Border Collie bursting with personality! This fun-loving pup is a playful bundle of energy who adores cuddles just as much as she loves chasing after her favorite toys. With her impressive leash skills and eagerness to learn, Daisy is the perfect blend of intelligence and affection.
š PERSONALITY:
Daisy is a delightful bundle of joy and affection. She embodies the typical traits of her breed ā intelligence, agility, and a boundless enthusiasm for life. With a wagging tail and a twinkle in her eye, Daisy is always ready for some fun! She thrives on playtime and cherishes moments playing with her foster sister and cuddled up with her humans. Her affectionate nature makes her a big lap dog at heart, seeking warmth and companionship whenever possible.
šTRAINING: (sleep, toilet, crate training, commands/tricks, leash walking?)
Notes from her foster Mum:
Daisy can sit and come when called.
She can use the dog door and is doing great with house training - will do wees outside when asked, but if itās been a few hours I still take her out and donāt rely on her taking herself out yet.
Sheās confident walking on lead, but can sometimes pull a bit when excited.
She is super friendly with everyone, loves people but can still get excited and want to jump at first.
Great with other dogs, loves them all! Is gentle and respectful with my little old poodle boy, and absolutely loves playing with my kelpie girl. She would do best with another dog to play with.
Sheās definitely shows a lot of herding instinct, if she doesnāt get adopted rurally she would do well in some sort of dog sport but I think if it isnāt put to use she may try to herd things she shouldnāt.
Sheās loves a ball, also loves to chew, so if not given appropriate chews, she will just chew whatever she can find and her special talent is destroying āindestructibleā toys š¤£
She is very gentle when taking treats, shares well with the other dogs and is lovely to have around.
She can be a busy bee, but itās pretty quiet here and sheās doing well at finding her off switch and learning to relax.
Sheās been sleeping in the crate at night but would absolutely love to be allowed on the human bed as sheās a sweet snuggle bug who loves a cuddle on the couch.
š”PERFECT HOME: (are they tested on children, other dogs & animals, level of exercise, acerage/suburbia, need another dog?)
Daisy's perfect home would be one filled with love, laughter, and plenty of opportunities for adventure. She adores the company of other dogs, so a household with canine companions would be a bonus for her. In terms of activity level, Daisy thrives on regular exercise and mental stimulation. Whether it's long walks in the park or engaging in interactive play sessions, she's always up for the challenge. While Daisy is adaptable to various living environments, she would particularly thrive in a home with access to outdoor space where she can stretch her legs and explore.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet and spirited Border Collie, Daisy would be overjoyed to join your family and share a lifetime of love and adventures together! š¶š
