About Paddy
Paddy is the epitome of a dog’s best friend! A confident, affectionate cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He thrives in the company of calm, friendly dogs and has a unique set of expectations for his canine companions. Paddy is looking for a dog who is gentle and patient, one who doesn’t mind being climbed over, cuddled into, and used as a surface for biscuit making. In return, his doggy friend will be showered with affection, including snuggles, playful sniffing, and the occasional enthusiastic roll over. A fluffy tail to chase would be the ultimate bonus, though not essential.
This charming boy is incredibly social and loves spending time with his foster mates and siblings. Whether he’s exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings or engaging in playtime with dogs and cats alike, Paddy approaches life with curiosity and joy. When he’s ready to relax, he’ll happily settle down, purring loudly and rolling onto his back for belly rubs.
Paddy strikes a wonderful balance between affection and independence. He adores cuddles but also values the freedom to do his own thing. He gets along effortlessly with other cats, accepting them without hesitation, and as a playful cat, he enjoys attention and simple pleasures like chasing a stick or batting around an empty toilet roll. Fancy toys are optional; Paddy’s imagination does the rest.
He would love to be adopted alongside one of his siblings, Zeus or Adelyn, or into a home that already has a friendly cat or dog to keep him company. Paddy has also shown he can do well with children who respect his space, as demonstrated during his time at a recent cat cuddle day.
With his loving nature, playful spirit, and easygoing attitude, Paddy is ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a touch of fun to his forever home.
As Paddy is thriving so well in his foster home with companions, he must go to a home with either a resident cat or cat friendly dog.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (a 25% admin fee will apply)
