About Kiki 'Licious'
Meet Kiki - 'licious' 🐾
Kiki is a beautiful, smoochy girl with a gentle nature and a big love for cuddles. She’s wonderfully affectionate and will happily settle in for pats, snuggles, and plenty of quiet companionship. A real purr machine, Kiki makes it very clear how much she enjoys being close to her people.
She’s also perfectly content spending time on her own during the day, happily snoozing while you’re busy, making her an easy companion for a relaxed household routine.
Kiki is FIV positive, which simply means she’s best suited to a home without other cats (or with other compatible FIV-positive cats). She can still live happily with dogs or other non-feline pets with appropriate introductions.
With her calm personality and loving nature, Kiki would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who enjoys both cuddle time and peaceful naps nearby.
FELINE FIV
Feline FIV, also known as Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), is an incurable virus that affects cats. It is similar to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) that affects humans, however it is not transferable to humans. FIV can be spread through saliva and blood, primarily through bites and scratches.
FIV is a very serious virus that can lead to a weakened immune system, making cats more prone to other illnesses and infections. Common symptoms of FIV include weight loss, fever, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea.
In order to care for a cat with FIV, it is important to ensure that the cat is receiving proper nutrition and a healthy diet. Regular veterinary visits are also essential for monitoring the cat's condition and providing necessary treatments. Additionally, it is important to keep the cat indoors to reduce the risk of infection from other cats.
FIV is a serious virus, but with the proper care and attention, cats with FIV can live long and happy lives.
