Milo

Meet Milo 🐾

Milo is a 1½-year-old dachshund based in Ballarat, VIC, looking for his perfect home.

He’s a sweet, affectionate little guy who absolutely loves people. Whether it’s cuddling up beside you, burrowing under a blanket, or soaking up the sun, Milo is happiest when he’s close to his humans. That said, he also enjoys his own space—especially if his bed is nearby so he can still keep an eye on you.

Milo is crate trained and knows his basic commands. He’s a big fan of treats, loves chasing balls, and enjoys toys he can chew on. One of his cheekier habits is sneaking toilet rolls if they’re left within reach—so keep an eye out! He’s also great at the groomer and tolerates nail trims well.

Milo would thrive in a home where he’s not left alone too often, as he can be a bit anxious. Ideally, he’d love a home with another dachshund companion to help him feel safe and supported.

Walks are something Milo enjoys once he’s out and about, although he can be a little reactive and may bark. He’s also not the biggest fan of having his harness put on (expect a bit of a playful chase beforehand!).

He is mostly toilet trained and usually makes his way outside, but he does have the occasional accident—so he’ll need someone patient who can help reinforce his routine.

Milo is a loving, quirky, and loyal companion who will bring warmth, laughter, and plenty of cuddles to the right home ❤️
