About Roxy
Hi, I’m Roxy, a female Irish Wolfhound mix. I'm still a young pup which means I will need a family who understands that I crave daily opportunities to learn about life—puppy classes, new experiences, and practicing manners. I haven't really been alone before, always had the company of my brother of my foster sister, so it could take me some time to get used to you being at work all day if you don't give me things to entertain my smart, puppy brain. I’m hoping for a home with someone who works average hours so I can grow up with a steady, loving routine. I'm often up for long walks and playful bursts, then quiet cuddle time. I haven't met many kids so will need supervised introductions and time to learn that kids can be fun! I think I’d be gentle with kids who are kind and patient. I am dog-social, and I have no known history of issues with other pets. I'm super lucky that I got to spend some time in foster care & my foster carer is helping with my house training, but she says I get better every day and hardly have accidents inside. My home needs include a family who can provide structure, guidance, and lots of love as I grow into a loyal companion and most importantly, time to rest. If you’re ready to welcome me with open arms, I’ll bring wagging tails, warm snuggles, and a heart full of devotion.
