About Patch
Patch is a spirited 4yo Parson Russell Terrier who truly embodies her breed. Lively and energetic, she loves chasing a ball, playing tug, and having a "job" to keep her busy. Bold and confident, Patch is friendly but values her independence, she's definately not a lap dog, but will happily relax beside you on the couch after she's had enough exercise and stimulation. She responds best to consent based handling and prefers interactions on her own terms. Intelligent and a natural problem solver, she also has a determined, sometimes stubborn streak, so she'll thrive with an experienced, breed savvy owner who can provide structure and enrichment. Patch is alert and can be vocal, with strong instincts to patrol and watch over her home, and her high prey drive means she'll need a household without small animals. She needs to be the only pet. For the right terrier enthusiast, Patch will be a rewarding and engaging companion, full of personality and charm, complete with her big, ear to ear smile.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
