About Banjo
Name: Banjo
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 25/12/2025
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Ginger
Location: Royal Park
Banjo’s superpower is his natural sociability - he’s always good company and will be first in line to come and say hello.
He’s left his neglected early kittenhood behind and grabbed hold of his second chance with all four paws. After delighting his foster carers with his antics and warm, affectionate nature, Banjo is now on the lookout for his forever family - or that one special person to call his own.
Named for the stripes across the back of his cute little head and neck, Banjo is a marathon lap-sitter who comes with his own built-in soundtrack - a constant, contented rumble that many would agree is the sound of pure love.
Banjo takes the comings and goings of a busy household in his stride and has patiently put up with the affections of a toddler. He hasn’t met any dogs yet. He grew up alongside his siblings (two torty sisters and a ginger brother) after making the big move from Port Augusta to Adelaide at ten weeks old, and now he’s been given the all clear from the vet and is ready for his next chapter.
He’s not fussy when it comes to food - happily enjoying whatever is on offer - and he’s very diligent with his litter habits, keeping things neat and tidy like a proper gentleman.
If you’re someone who enjoys a good sit-down, Banjo will be right there with you… preferably on your lap.
